Dr Alan Watkins

Alan is a global authority on human performance and personally designed many of the scientific tools that underpin the personal performance and personal leadership elements of our client work.

Alan has been researching and lecturing on performance, emotions and health for over 23 years. Dividing his time between Xinfu clients and his business CCL, Alan has coached hundreds of CEOs and main board executives of FTSE100 and global businesses. Current clients include TNT, RSA and Deloitte.

A Medical Doctor, Alan also holds a PhD in Immunology and a first class degree in Psychology. Widely published in scientific journals, his first book, ''Mind Body Medicine'', was published in 1997 and he has a new book on leadership in preparation. Alan uses proprietary medical monitoring equipment to measure clients' physiological patterns to gain a rigorous scientific understanding of their energy and emotional states. His spiral dynamic-based Leadership Values Profile provides a unique dynamic and situational view of individual and team performance.

Alan is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Neuroscience and Psychological Medicine at Imperial College, London and an Affiliate Professor of Leadership at the European School of Management. He is also a Non-Executive Director of the Institute of Wellness and Wellbeing at the University of Westminster and a Lecturer in Integrated Medicine at the University of Buckingham.
