He specialises in business leadership engagements.


Hugh is a highly experienced strategy, growth and leadership advisor to UK, US and global clients with wide ranging experience across UK, US, Asia and Europe. Previously a member of the Heidrick & Struggles CEO & Board Practice, he collaborated with Steve in writing "The Secrets of CEOs" and also advised UK listed clients on attracting, retaining and developing CEOs and board level executives.

Hugh's early career was spent with the The Parthenon Group, a boutique spin out of Bain & Company, specialising in growth and customer segmentation strategies for Fortune500 and private equity clients. He worked with clients across a wide range of industries, particularly financial services, publishing, automotive, construction, consumer goods and cash handling.

Hugh holds an MA in Law from Trinity Hall, Cambridge.
