Finance Director

Ben is Xinfu’s finance director and is responsible for the company’s finance and commercial affairs. He has more than 20 years’ experience as a finance executive including Senior Vice President of Finance at BHP Petroleum. He has served on the boards of UK and Australian listed energy and resource companies and more recently he formed a start-up company to develop sustainable energy solutions with reduced carbon footprint.
Ben has a track record in completing company-transforming commercial and M&A transactions creating significant shareholder value. Ben has also successfully led a number of global scale process improvement and business performance initiatives. He brings extensive capital markets expertise.
Ben has worked in various locations across the globe including Africa, Asia, Indian sub-continent, Middle East, South East Asia, USA, Australia and the Caribbean and has a keen interest in working in diverse teams and cultures.
Ben enjoys all things from Scotland from where he hails, getting outdoors, and reading history and science books. His music interests are diverse – from opera to Senegalese mbalax and loves playing the piano.
